GM Diet - Day 1

This blog is intended to take the readers all the way through the GM diet plan, day by day so that the readers may follow along for any doubts or queries. The series of posts will help source produce or ingredients required and any complementary activities that one might take up during the duration of the diet.

The first day of the GM diet is about going hard at fruits. You are literally recommended to eat till you are full. There are hardly any exceptions here. Day 1 can be difficult as eating only fruits all of sudden can be uncomfortable and possibly the hardest challenge the GM diet has to offer. However, if you follow the below guidelines, it can be easier to make it through the day successfully.

1. Arrange for the fruits you love: Like the most resonating message ever professed "Do what you love, then work won;t seem like work", it is important to keep your mind focussed on fruits items that you might love. Our diet plan would recommend that you source the following:

  • Apples
  • Grapefruit
  • Melons (Watermelon, musk melons)
  • Strawberries
  • Grapes

All these items, if spaced out properly during the day, can be very filling. There are various ways to achieve this plan however, the most generic and easy to follow approach would be to eat at regular intervals throughout the day. Not only will it help through the diet plan, but it is also a very healthy dietary habit.
Precautions: It advisable to avoid any physical exercise on the first day of the diet as you may be feeling light-headed or spells of dizziness. It is recommended that you consume water at regular intervals during the day in order to stay with the diet plan.
