Going in to the GM diet day 3 one must remind themselves that it has been a challenging couple days and day 3 is going to be much easier. Day 3 is a combination of day 1 & day 2 so there are more options to choose from going into the third day of the GM diet. The third of the GM diet is somewhat a milestone for the dieter because by the end of the third day the dieter may loose up to 3 kilos.
Day 3 in the GM diet, is a combination of day 1 and day 2. All fruits and vegetables can be consumed during the day with the exception of bananas and tomatoes. This day should be easy to follow as there are more choices to snack on during the day. This is another "all you can eat" day. Listed below are recommendations for food items to be consumed on day 3:
- Carrots
- Cucumbers
- Green vegetables like lettuce, celery, spinach, cabbage, cauliflower. These can be cooked or can be consumed as part of salads.
- Apples
- Grapes
- Watermelon
- Strawberries
Just like day1 & Day2, the main difference is the menu for the day. You may face similar challenges as the first 2 days but it should still be easier withe variety in the menu. the vegetables maybe consumed by boiling and seasoning. Eat at regular intervals in order to avoid hunger spells during the day
Precautions: You may start exercising or resume your workout routine slightly by going to simpler and less stressful routines in order to avoid to much effort as the body would be low on energy. It is recommended that you may work out in the morning itself. Also, drink plenty of water at regular intervals during the day. GM diet exercise would be the ideal combination in order to see best results but nothing should be overdone and put your overall health in jeopardy.
